The Geriatric Emergency Department Collaborative (GEDC)

The Geriatric Emergency Department Collaborative (GEDC) is dedicated to improving care quality and patient outcomes for older adults seeking care in emergency department settings nationwide.  GEDC is committed to making change through the education of individuals, and hospital-wide initiatives that create sustainable improvements in practice at all levels.

The GEDC website has a wealth of resources covering topics such as falls and mobility, care transitions, medication management, and cognitive and behavioral disorders. Clinicians and hospital staff will find implementation toolkits, peer-reviewed articles, webinars, staff education curriculums, and podcasts.
