Though components of both ED care practices and ED care needs for persons living with dementia have been studied, greater depth and reproducibility are needed to form best practices. Results from this review revealed that those many interventions show positive results there is a lack of depth and reproducible results that prevent specific recommendations on best practices in emergency department care for people living with dementia.
